The aRBM journey:

A map for progress over time

Implementing the aRBM system means catalyzing mutually reinforcing feedback loops across three levels of governance within the LLF. In year one, we focused on feedback loops at the Project Management Unit (PMUs) level. In year two, we expanded to Regional Hubs. In year 3, we are looking to further embed this work in the LLF ecosystem as a whole.

The aRBM Cycle: Continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement

Mutually reinforcing feedback loops at the Project and Fund level, facilitated by Regional Hubs, create a cohesive aRBM system that promotes visibility, accountability, and trust.

Project aRBM Cycle

In the Project-level cycle, aRBM creates a dynamic feedback loop whereby projects continuously monitor performance and the environment in order to adapt as needed to make progress towards their end goals.

Regional Hub aRBM Links

Regional Hubs are connective tissue between projects, other regions, and the Fund as a whole. Hubs facilitate two-way data management and communication, leveraging upstream insights to solve project-specific challenges while also bringing the project and regional perspective to bear on broader Fund strategies and decisions. Regional Hubs also coordinate with each other, ensuring lessons are shared across Hubs to strengthen institutional knowledge, visibility, accountability, and support.

LLF Fund aRBM Cycle

In the Fund-level cycle, aRBM system supports LLFMU to establish Fund-level strategic objectives and aggregate impact frameworks to track and interpret results across projects. Regular data reviews are a mechanism for accountability, fund-level decision-making, and momentum through success stories.
